Flyindog Records, LLP was established in 1996 by owners Kenneth L. Dunn and Peter “Chip” Lazauskas as a blues-based music booking agency and small independent record label, specializing in the Blues and Americano. Flyin’ Dog first signed artist Brad McCool, and the first record “Big Time“ was cut in 1997. “Live at Mardi Gras”, recorded at Dick’s Kangaroo Cafe, followed in 1999. Flyin’ Dog Records went on to sign other artists including Kern Pratt, Mark May (“In Texas Live”), David Vidal, Calep Emphery, and rapper Swan Lee.

The Kenneth Dunn Agency has been booking artists for 25 years, and has worked with Blues Legends such as Calvin Owens, “Love You Madly” Pete Mays, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Joe “Guitar” Hughes, Jerry Lightfoot, “Sweet Pea“ Stevens, Texas Johnny Brown, Big Walter and the Dynatones, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Mark May, Tommy Castro, Tab Benoit, Leon Russell, Hank Williams Jr. III, Miss Molly, Paul Ramirez, Hadden Sayyers, Trudy Lynn, Diyunna Greenleaf, and the legendary Pinetop Perkins. We have booked artists at venues such as Tipitina’s, The Viper Room, The Mint, House of Blues, The Big Easy Houston, the Texas Satellite Lounge, Rockerfeller’s, Fitzgerald’s, Louisiana Ruby’s Roadhouse, Rockin Bowl, Roux 61 Natchez, Green Oaks Tavern, the Maple Leaf, Tunica casinos, Acadia Theater, and festivals such as the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Conroe Catfish Festival, Spring Crawfish Festival, Jipjoint Festival, Houston International Festival, Chicago Blues Festival, Natchez Balloon Races, Alligator Festival and more, as well as clubs and festivals around Europe.
